Caleb Sutton & The High Stakes

Formed in 2022 by founding members Caleb Sutton and Seth Myers, Caleb Sutton & The High Stakes grew out of a shared love for diverse musical influences and bold songwriting. Over time, the band has carved out a Texas-sized sound that demands to be heard. In 2026, the group enters a new era with the addition of two new members and a fully refreshed lineup-bringing even more power, depth, and edge to their signature style. 

  The Band: Caleb Sutton, Lead Vocals-- from Hawley Texas--Smooth as whiskey and sharp as the truth. With a sound built on heart, grit, and late-night stories, he is the soul at the front of the High Stakes

. Seth Myers, Drums--from Abilene Texas- the heartbeat of the High Stakes, when the sticks hit- the energy shifts, Seth is the rhythm that drives the High Stakes.

 Clint Bruton, Rhythm Guitar--hailing from Abilene Texas, but cutting his teeth in the legendary Lubbock Texas music scene, Clint has played with numerous projects across different genres. Favoring atmosphere and sweetness over style and flash, Clint's approach is a heartfelt and unique take on modern country guitar.  His harmony vocals add depth and warmth, helping fill out the band's signature sound.

 Joel Cox, Bass--originally from Houston, Texas, Joel spent time in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area playing for a variety of artists and bands before landing in Abilene Texas. Immersing himself into the Texas Country and Red Dirt scene. His experience provides a solid foundation for the High Stakes.

 Rounding out the High Stakes lineup is Lead Guitarist Elijah Bishop, hailing from Grand Junction, Colorado, Elijah brings a dynamic edge to the High Stakes with a style rooted in both precision and passion. Having played with several bands over the years, Elijah's influences run deep-from heavy metal riffs to classic country picking. A metalhead at heart, he delivers energy, versatility, and undeniable talent every time he steps on stage, proving he is  just as comfortable shredding solos as he is laying into authentic country lead lines.

Different roads, different influences, one goal-making great music and putting on a show worth remembering.
